After nearly 80 years as Carkner’s Family Vision Care, we officially became
Peak Vision Clinic in the Spring of 2022.

While we may have retired the Carkner name from our storefront, we have continued to work tirelessly to ensure that we continue to embody the same passion and devotion to eye care that our founder, Dr. Clarence Carkner brought forth as one of the pioneers of Oregon optometry so many years ago.

As a way to celebrate our rich history and legacy as an institution of Oregon eye care, we installed a ‘Legacy Wall’ at our Portland clinic, featuring historical highlights, and artifacts collected across decades of serving this community. We invite you to check it out the next time you’re in.
